In a recently held glittery function at Gandhi Peace Foundation Prof. Dr.A.K.Gupta, Founder Director AKGsOVIHAMS (Om Vidya Institute of Homoeopathy and Allied Medical Sciences) was conferred with Chikitsa Sewa Ratan Awartd 2019 for his meritorious and dedicated services in the field of Homoeopathy for over 40 years. The Medical Cell of BJP under the Presidentship of Dr.D.C.Prajapati organised the event in which eminent doctors from different streams like Allopathy, Ayurveda, Dentist, Naturopathy and Yoga were also honored. Dean Mr Mahesh Vyas AIIMS Ayurveda presided over. Dr.Girish Tyagi, Registrar Delhi Medical Council, Vice Chancellor Sh. Bihari Lal and Dr.SPS Bakshi Former President CCH (Central Council of Homoeopathy) and CMD Baksons Homoeopathy were the Guest of honor. Though Dr.Harshvardhan, Hon’ble minister of Health and Family Welfare Govt. of India and Sh.Gautam Gambhir, Hon’ble Member of Parliament were also to come for this function but could not make it due to certain reasons of State mourning on Sunday 21st July 2019.
Since the inception of AKGsOVIHAMS by Prof. Dr.A.K.Gupta in 1999, more than 300 Free Medical, Health Check Ups and Awareness Camps have been held and Thousands of patients among them Children, Males, Females and Senior Citizens have been benefited all around through these camps. He has been involved in Clinical research of few serious diseases like MND (Motor Neuron Disease) etc. Dr.A.K.Gupta, President of Homoeopathic Medical Association of India, Delhi has been the Member of Homoeopathic Advisory Committee ,Govt of Delhi and Member of Board Of Homoeopathic System of Medicine, Delhi, Govt. of NCT Delhi as a Nominated Member by the State.
