Inguinal Hernia
An inguinal hernia occurs when tissue, such as part of the intestine, protrudes through a weak spot in the abdominal muscles. The resulting bulge can be painful, especially when you cough, bend over, or lift a heavy object.
Hydrocephalus
Hydrocephalus is a condition in which excess cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) builds up within the ventricles (fluid-containing cavities) of the brain and may increase pressure within the head.
Herpes (Simplex, Progenitalis, Labialis, Zoster)
Herpes is a viral infection disease. The Herpes virus affecting the genitals is often transmitted by sexual contact. The virus (Type 1) is known to be transmitted by a respiratory route, while the virus (Type 2) is through sexual contact. Some of the patients exhibit the symptoms due to the virus while many have the virus residing silently in the sacral ganglion without showing any indications of its presence.
Most of the suffers have recurring infections, as the virus has a tendency to show its disease activities periodically, especially during the phases of stress, lowered immunity or without any known reason. Due to carefree sex and careless contact, this infection is bound to touch an epidemic status one day.
Hepatitis
Hepatitis is a Liver Infection which usually Viral in origin. Hepatitis can be Acute or chronic.
Heart Failure (Congestive Heart Disease)
Congestive heart failure (CHF) is generally classified as systolic or diastolic heart failure and becomes progressively more common with increasing age.
Systolic heart failure: The pumping action of the heart is reduced or weakened. A common clinical measurement is the ejection fraction (EF). The ejection fraction is a calculation of how much blood is ejected out of the left ventricle (stroke volume), divided by the maximum volume remaining in the left ventricle at the end of diastole or relaxation phase. A normal ejection fraction is greater than 50%. Systolic heart failure has a decreased ejection fraction of less than 50%.
Diastolic heart failure: The heart can contract normally but is stiff, or less compliant, when it is relaxing and filling with blood. This impedes blood filling into the heart and produces backup into the lungs and CHF symptoms. Diastolic heart failure is more common in patients older than 75 years, especially in women with high blood pressure. In diastolic heart failure, the ejection fraction is normal.
Gout
It is a metabolic disease that affects both males and females. Gout is one of the types of arthritis, where the joint inflammation, beginning in the great toe in many cases, occurs due to a metabolic dysfunction. There is a deposition of Uric acid in and around the joint causing severe painfulness, swelling, and restricted mobility of the affected joint.
GB Syndrome (Guillain-Barre syndrome)
Guillain-Barré syndrome is an acute illness that is caused by inflammation of peripheral nerves leading to loss of sensation, muscle weakness, and, in more serious cases, complete paralysis and breathing difficulty. In almost 80% of children, these symptoms follow a recent illness (usually viral). This infection is thought to trigger a faulty response in the immune system.
Gastritis
Acute Gastritis, probably the most common disturbance of the stomach, is frequently accompanied by enteritis. Gastritis is an irritation and inflammation of the inner lining of the stomach. It occurs in all age groups. The condition is more commonly seen in middle-aged and elderly people.
