MENIER S DISEASE

An inner ear disorder that causes episodes of vertigo (spinning).
Ménière's disease usually starts in one ear, but later may involve both. Smoking, infections or a high-salt diet may worsen the disease.
Symptoms include a spinning sensation (vertigo), hearing loss, ear ringing (tinnitus) and ear pressure. The vertigo may cause severe nausea and imbalance. Hearing loss may become permanent.
Drugs for motion sickness or nausea may help manage symptoms.
 

Why people get Meniere’s isn’t clear. Researchers have several theories about what might affect the fluid in the inner ear, though:

 
  • Poor drainage (because of blockage or an abnormal structure in your ear)
  • Autoimmune response (when your body’s defense system attacks healthy cells)
  • Allergic reaction
  • Viral infection
  • Inherited tendency
  • Blow to the head
  • Migraine headaches
  • Fluid builds up inside a part of your inner ear called the labyrinth, which holds structures that help with hearing and balance. The extra fluid interferes with the signals your brain receives, causing vertigo and hearing problems.

Along with the main symptoms, some people may have:

Attacks can last 20 minutes or as long as 24 hours. Might get several in a week, or they might come months or even years apart. Afterward,patient may feel tired and need to rest.

As Meniere’s progresses, symptoms may change. Hearing loss and tinnitus may become constant.  Patient u might have problems with balance and vision instead of having occasional bouts of vertigo.

Though vertigo, dizziness etc. can be treated easily with both Homoeopathic and Allopathic medicines. 

Tinitus or Sound in the Ears troubles quite a bit.

Homoeopathy has got different remedies for different kind of sounds experiencerd by the patients. But for the patients it becomes very difficult to explain the kind of sound or noise patint gets.

Following have been observed since last one month during the medication:-
- No more vertigo attacks.
- Tinnitus in right ear continues 24/7.
- Piles and Gas problem has increased.
- Early in the morning/ when temperature is down I feel some time that I may get vertigo attacks or heavy-ness  . But that didn’t happened as I cover my head with a woollen cap, I think it is some how preventing the vertigo attacks.
