AKGsOVIHAMS (Om-Vidya Institute of Homoeopathy & Allied Medical Sciences) is the brainchild of internationally renowned Homoeopathic Consultant Prof. Dr. A.K.Gupta. The Institute in a very short span has created a place for itself in the hearts of the people due to the untiring efforts and inspired leadership of Dr. Gupta. He felt that none of the system of medicine is complete in its own, though each has its own merits with limitations hence OVIHAMS caters to need of the hour i.e. to provide Integrated Medical Services to the needy patients.
Dr.A.K.Gupta completed his DHMS from Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College, New Delhi in 1977. Since then, he has been working selflessly in providing relief to the suffering humanity. He did his Post-Graduation, i.e., MD (Hom) from Sri Sai Nth Post Graduate Institute of Homoeopathy, Allahabad in 2007. He did a P.G. course from Hahnemann College of Homoeopathy, London in 1984.

In the year 1996, in the 200th year of Homoeopathy’s existence, Dr. A. K. Gupta came out with a book on Behavioral disorders in Children by the name – “THE PROBLEM CHILD & HOMOEOPATHY”
He is a constant feature in all seminars and conferences all over the world and is highly accomplished speaker. He has presented many papers and written numerous articles for newspapers, various conferences, journals and daily magazines over the years. His rich knowledge and experience always comes in handy for the growth and advancement in the scientificity of Homoeopathy.
Looking at his stature and ocean of knowledge, he was offered a whole T.V show on Homoeopathy by SHAKTI TV Channel, which he agreed to do completely free of cost as he says, it is only to create awareness among the masses about Homoeopathy. His show called “HOMOEO-HEALER” is aired regularly on this channel and is a huge success.
In the past also, Dr. Gupta has been interviewed many times on ALL INDIA RADIO and various other T.V. channels like Doordarshan, NDTV, Zee News, Aaj Tak, CNN-IBN, FOCUS TV, Pragya TV, etc.
