World Mental Health Day, 2017 theme - Mental Health in Workplace

Every year, 10th October is celebrated as the World Mental Health Day to spread awareness, fight stigma, and promote the importance of mental health all over the world. This year's theme decided by the World Health Organisation (WHO) is - "Mental Health in Workplace". It is in keeping with the current issue of ever increasing workload and mounting pressure on people and how we tend to ignore our mental health among all this.

Open and clear communication about one's psychological problems, challenges being faced by the workers, and the need to accept and encourage people to come and talk about their difficulties with mental health professionals is of prime importance. Prof. Dr. A. K. Gupta, Founder and Director of AKGsOVIHAMS Medical Centre, and Kaartik Gupta, Clinical Psychologist, gave separate talks on radio shows on the occasion of 25th Anniversary of World Mental Health Day 2017 and emphasised on the role of Homoepathic treatment and psychological intervention in dealing with work related stress.
